Testimonial #14 - André, 42 years old

Hello everyone,

My name is André, I am originally from Poland and now live in Belgium. My journey has not been easy: learning a new language, adapting to a different culture, as well as living with epilepsy. The many seizures, the harsh treatments and the fear of not finding a place in society have marked my daily life.

But thanks to God, my neurologist who found the right treatment, and my own motivation that never faded, my life has changed. My epilepsy has stabilised and I have been able to regain control of my health.

Today, I am proud to have founded my own company in Belgium. It is not always easy to run a business with a chronic condition, but I have always wanted to, and I have learned to balance my work and my health. I feel free, without the constant worries that used to hold me back.

I am grateful for all the people who have been by my side during this journey, both here in Belgium and abroad. Even though I am not in my home country, I have met wonderful people who have had a great impact on both my health and my professional path.

My message is simple: anything is possible with the right treatment, proper medical follow-up and a supportive environment. Epilepsy has not taken away my dreams - on the contrary, it has given me the strength to fulfil them in a different way.
