Testimonial #5 - My Epilepsy Sami

My name is Sami, I am 17 years old.
Before all that happened, my life was filled with laughter, sports, music and plans.
I loved playing the violin, going out with my friends, and I was lucky enough Kelly to have by my side - my friend, who has always supported me.

But on a regular school day, everything changed.
I only remember the moment I woke up, surrounded by worried faces.
It was my first fall, my first attack.
I didn't understand what was happening to me.

The following days were a whirlwind: GP, neurologist, EEG, medication...
My daily life had changed forever.

When I went back to school, I thought everything would go back to normal.
But instead, the ridicule, the strange looks and distance of others.
I touched insulated and ended up in a silent depression.

Fortunately, my parents er. And above all Kelly.
She gave me never drop.
She reminded me that my illness does not define me.
Thanks to her support, I began to come out of my isolation little by little.

I made a decision: turning this ordeal into a strength.
I chose distance learning To better manage my health.
And together with Kelly I started e-commerce.
I started a small activity from my room, surrounded by boxes, accessories and hope.

Today I understand that every fall can be the beginning of a new rise.
Epilepsy has shown me who the real people are - those who stay.
And she taught me that, even with a difference, you can still build, create and dream.

I am Sami. I am 17 years old.
And despite epilepsy, I keep progressing.
Because after every fall, there is always a way to get back up.
