Testimony #7 - Ilhame, 32 years old

For a long time, I lived with small, well-controlled partial seizures. Everything was going well... until one night at a nightclub.
After trying a few glasses of vodka and nitrous oxide for the first time, I had a major absence attack.

This attack completely changed my life: half of my body was paralysed.
A year later, I could walk and move again, but my body changed.
I have a big scar, my eyes are no longer straight and neither is my mouth.

Today I want to warn young people: avoid this kind of thing, it can destroy everything in a moment.

Despite the suffering, I remain hopeful. I walk step by step, I had to relearn everything, and I still believe that one day I will regain my old face.
