Mijn Epilepsie vzw is an independent non-profit from Antwerp supporting people with epilepsy.
Our mission
Provide reliable information, support people with epilepsy, reduce stigma and connect them to professional and social care across Belgium.
Our vision
A Belgium where no one with epilepsy feels alone — where schools, employers and caregivers truly understand the condition.
Our story
Mijn Epilepsie grew out of a personal experience with epilepsy: there was too little information available in Dutch and French.
Who leads the organisation
Person with epilepsy, founder of the non-profit, based in Antwerp.
Runs the non-profit day to day: schools, volunteers and fieldwork.
We are looking for volunteers — there are currently no active volunteers. Want to join? Get in touch.
Partners in progress
We are a young independent non-profit, with no official partnerships at the moment. We are looking for partners: schools, hospitals and associations.
